A later evening blog today as it has been rather hectic in the world of FWL. We are having several rooms in the office repainted (all at the same time) which makes for a somewhat chaotic existence in the rest of the rooms, with multiple piles of paper in unusual places. To say that we are currently working on a vast number of cases would be an understatement. An email came in first thing this morning with an Irish marriage certificate which enabled us to progress one family research project and so, the next step of ordering the bride and groom’s birth certificates was quickly conquered. The post lady appeared shortly after with two marriage certificates for another presentation binder we are creating for a client and then the Bonavacantia list was published with TWENTY FOUR new cases listed!
Pandemonium may reign in any office other than FWL but with our vast network of contacts, we managed to hand deliver letters to potential beneficiaries and sign up others on the telephone, beating the competition! The afternoon was not without its challenges with one house we were delivering to having just been sold and a road closure almost halting delivery to another. Does that stop us? No, of course not.
The day has been full of laughter and amazing team work, not just in the office but across the national network of FWL. Who needs a swanky office to produce master pieces? (We will have one soon, but no matter what, we always deliver a fantastic service!). We don’t encourage beneficiaries to dream big with intestate claims as we never know how much they will inherit but they are grateful for our honesty and personal service.
I have always thought that laughing was a crucial part of life. Today, I feel like I have lost years from my age with laughter and camaraderie alone. We have been carefully considering this year how to set ourselves apart from the competition. Really, the answer was already there but the word is spreading …. I am pleased to say, like wild fire.
Laugh lots …. it takes years off you! If there aren’t enough laughs in your life, come and work at FWL and we’ll provide them!
